UAE - Mubasher: The UAE banks' assets have hit AED 3.228 trillion at the end of August 2021, down 0.2% from AED 3.233 trillion at the end of July 2021.

The UAE banks' deposits went up by 0.7% month-on-month (MoM) to AED 1.928 trillion at the end of August 2021, according to the latest data by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).

Meanwhile, the gross credit rose by 0.2% from AED 1.768 trillion at the end of July 2021 to AED 1.771 trillion at the end of August 2021. 

The money supply aggregate M1 increased by 1.1% MoM to AED 661.1 billion at the end of August 2021 from AED 653.9 billion.
